La sicilia — Restaurant in Angoulême

We visited the city in a very hot day, with our two young children and stopped there for a bite. As soon as we sat down we were greeted and a jug of cold water was placed on the table. Service was impeccable and the food was amazing. We had the best salads ever and the kids loved the pizza 😍. Portions are reasonably sized and the price is decent. Angoulême,ville de la bande dessinée m'a t-on dit, effectivement ,j'y ai trouvé Laurel et Hardy dans cette pizzeria. Le serveur et certainement patron au bout de sa vie, débordé, nous acceuille de façon assez froide en nous disant qu'il y aura un peu d'attente. Alors effectivement, la notion de temps peut être relative si on estime qu'une heure d'attente c'est un peu d'attente. Sachant qu'un client arrivé après nous a été servi avant nous , et qu'il aurait mieux valu prendre à emporter puisque apparemment c'était plus rapide que sur place. Pour la suite , la pizza du menu enfant à 9,50€ de mon fils , aussi grande et mieux garnie que ma pizza savoyarde à 14€ . Et au moment de l'addition, le patron/serveur qui arrive à se tromper sur l'addition en ajoutant notre note à celle des clients d'avant. Du coup refait le calcul et arrive à se tromper. Pessima esperienza. Il menu era variegato ma tutte le pizze presentavano formaggio, panna o derivati del latte e per me che sono intollerante è stato un problema. Ingredienti non freschi e lievitazione della pizza molto scarsa. Da un ristorante che si chiama "la Sicilia" mi aspettavo almeno la presenza di qualche pizza classica come una banalissima margherita o una marinara ma non c'erano. Ho dovuto chiedere 3 volte una bottiglia d'acqua perché continuavano a dimenticarla. Al momento del dolce abbiamo ordinato delle crepe e le posate che ci hanno dato erano tutte sporche, posate che sono state appoggiate sul tavolo sprovvisto di qualsiasi tovaglietta, anche di carta. Stessa cosa per i bicchieri, poggiati capovolti sul tavolo appiccicoso. Il conto è stato anche salato se penso alla qualità del cibo.
