Bora Bora — Restaurant in Annecy

I came in here after a trail run in the mountains beside it absolutely starving. I ordered the Burger and thought it wouldn't be filling enough but when they brought it out I needn't have worried as it was enormous and with delicious home frites. I ate it too quickly so couldn't finish the last bite even with the encouragement from the serveur😂😂 It was so tasty and perfectly cooked. I cannot say this restaurant is serving ribs that are praise worthy. I was excited to try them given the great reviews, but unfortunately, there was very little protein and mostly just fat. Flavour was lacking. The restaurant itself is a little too jampacked, and I would not say the cleanest. Resto sympa, bien placé. Nous avons eu un problème d'odeur, sur la terrasse, et ils ont rapidement trouvé une solution. Les serveurs/serveuses étaient très sympas et dispo.

Cependant, le repas pour 2 adultes et un enfant, apéritif et dessert, nous a valu une note finale à plus de 100€. À ce prix, j'aurais aimé que la cuisson de mon burger soit saignante comme demandé et que les médaillons de foie gras avec ne soient pas si cuit (voir la photo. Celui de ma compagne était par contre très bien cuit). Le burger n'a pas besoin de frites en plus, faites moi confiance (j'ai pris une assiette mais la galette de pomme de terre faisait l'affaire)

Le bar fourni de bon cocktails et ma pina colada était très réussie.

Je vous conseille la réservation. Et n'attendez pas le soir même, en saison ça se rempli très vite.

Il y a quelques places de parking aux alentours du resto mais il sera compliqué de s'y garer après 19h30...
