The food was disappointing—small portions yet expensive. We paid €170 for four people (1 starter, 4 mains, and 1 dessert). We would have been happy to pay that if the taste matched the price—but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
The starter (sliced meat) was dry. The fish was fresh, but lacked flavor, as if the fish and the sauce were cooked separately. The Spanish pork was quite tough and bland. The dessert, which was apparently their signature dish, was underwhelming. The red sauce tasted store-bought, with a hint of cough syrup.
The beef tataki was decent (but it’s like Asian fusion, which we do not expect that at a French restaurant) and the octopus dish was just average.
They do serve complimentary bread and appetisers. Bread is cold and hard but appetisers were fine....
Read moreDuring our vacation in Annecy we have discovered this amazing place which was the best traditional French cuisine we have ever had. Chef (owner of the place) has a passion for cooking and everything is clearly homemade. For our starters we choose Escargots with homemade jus and Foie Gras which was to die for! Our main courses were slow roasted Lamb which were excellent too. Great flavours and simply delicious. We were pleasantly surprised as generally we are very critical being restaurants owners ourselves, but this place is definitely one of the best places we have visited. Once again many thanks for an excellent meal and great service from chef's wife who is running front of the house. We will definitely return in the summer!...

The amuse bouches that preceeded our meal were so good...deconstructed raclette (think eating raclette but not a cheese and carb bomb but lighter form eaten with a spoon) and the pork pate was slightly chunky and spread so well on baguette.
