A cute bistro at the beginning of tourist restaurant stripe. The food was excellent . They serve two choices of Entree, Plat and desert for the menu. Many daily specials include duck and foie gras pie. We had pate, pike, Avignon piglet and apple and pear tart. Avignon piglet was pork cooked 3 different way on top of eggplant was very good. Crispy pan fried pike with fennel kumquat salad and grilled fennel was excellent. So the tart was so good, we ate before we took it picture. The server was annoyed we took long time to translate menu with google translation because they didnât English menus. My husband likes to ask for recommendations of the wine or beer from the server if he doesnât know the selection the restaurant has. He asked for a dry red wine, the server shrugged his shoulder and my husband to pick. The first glass wine he got was half portion of next French table, 2nd glass portion was a bit bigger. đ What can we do? We are in France we donât know French. The server warmed up after while. We will go back because the food was very good and...
Read moreI cannot judge the food because this restaurant obviouslydoes not want to serve non French speaking clients. We went in, explaining that we had no reservation and asked for a table. The most rude and arrogant waiter just looked at us in a way that we could not understand whether that was a yes or a no. After a wave of his head we sat on a table and got the menu in French. I had zero signal so I could not even translate the options. When I asked for an English menu he looked at me as if I had killed someone from his family. We left. In Greece you would have been forever jobless my friend....
