We were on holiday in Bonnieux and got the opportunity to go on a date without our kid, and chose Le Kosy. The food was amazing, the drinks perfect, and the view unmatched. They fit us in without a reservation and were so accommodating. We shared the escargot, and for mains I had the salmon tartare and my husband had the veal tomahawk. All of it was so good that we decided to come back two days later with our kid and our friends and their kid. The quality of food, especially for the price, and the ability to cater to a party of 6 including two kind of picky kids (we made a reservation with the chef verbally while she was buying fresh produce during the market right in front of the restaurant that morning) was really wonderful. I was hoping to come back a third time but we couldn't fit it in, so I guess we'll just have to go back! (And I will be following on instagram forever so I can...

For our last night in Bonnieux, we had a wonderful meal at le Kosy! Everything was extremely fresh and flavorful, nicely presented. To start, the waitress brought menus along with a tablet that helpfully showed all the menu items with descriptions (translated in various languages) and photos. We then asked her follow up questions (in French but she spoke English, too) and she was knowledgeable and passionate about the food and wine. Her recommendations were spot on.

The place was packed so reservations are recommended. They were so busy it made the service a little slower but all the dishes were worth the wait. The chef is skillful, selecting fresh local ingredients for the dishes. We loved our table on the terrace with a view of the valley and Lacoste village in the distance. Would gladly come here again for a meal. So glad...

Do yourself one favor if you are able to travel to Provence. Either eat at Le Kozy or have Sonia, their chef, prepare a private dinner for you at your home. It is truly the meal of a lifetime. She is lovely and such an amazing chef. This experience is more than worth it. She is serving Provence on a plate and if possible, do everything you can to make it happen. And, as a real treat, the cute and extremely kind couple who own the wine store next door, Racines, will even meet with you and help pair wines to your meal. They were so sweet and patient. Pop in there for excellent wines of every price range and even amazing IPAs! Two "must do" stops...

The waiter guy is really nice, have a great attitude and does an amazing job. The wines are mostly coming from local vineyards. We had the Chateau la Canoreau - I can only recommend it. We had the l’escarcgot as starter, the veal steak and the asparagus risotto as main dish, and the pavlova and the coconut thingy as desserts — everything was amazing. We’d definitely come back once because liked not just this restaurant but the entire area (we were staying next in Gault- La Begude)
