This was an excellent meal for a very reasonable price. The restaurant is quaint and cozy. The servers were very kind and accommodating for us, and we were traveling with a 1.5 year old baby (who was in a bad mood- hungry and tired!) They gave us a large table with a highchair. We asked that they not have long breaks between our courses (as much as could allow-we know it takes time to make the food.) And they were faster than we were- extremely attentive to our needs. All of the food was excellent. We had the foie gras and burrata as starters, the codfish and chicken as entrees, and the chocolate cake and creme brulee as desserts and honestly everything was cooked well and had amazing flavor. I either love or hate lavender flavored things. It is so easy to overpower other flavors and make a dish taste like soap. Unfortunately, this restaurant offered a disappointing experience. Although the terrace was small and pretty, it was located directly next to the pool and sun loungers, which significantly detracted from the atmosphere. The view of a gravel patch also didn't contribute to a pleasant ambiance. The food was unfortunately only average. It seemed as though the dishes were primarily prepared from convenience products, and the presentation was heartless. This restaurant was excellent and conveniently open when so many others were closed for the season in the city. We loved our three course meals. The pumpkin soup and ravioli were a savory start.
