We had a first class lunch beginning with the best French onion soup we found in Lourdes! We shared a crisp, clean & healthy salad perfectly dressed. The baked goat cheese on toast atop the salad was a pleasant surprise! That was followed by entrees of Lasagna, Spaghetti Bolognese, and Croque Monsieur, all of which were savory & plentiful. Our meal was topped off by a shared banana split! Has ordered noodles soup, on a photo in the menu it looks like typical Chinese noodles, but after 5 minutes I received a bowl of instant noodles from the supermarket. Trying also French onion soup - taste like soup from the package and nothing even close to real onion soup. The pizza was only okay.

Please don't get me wrong, I do not mind to eat fast food, but only with a fair price. If the cafe charge for three dishes (without drinks) 30€ - I expect to eat a good quality meal.

Had the best lunch at Salon de Thé Edelweiss. Had one of the best Croque monsieur my whole trip in France. About a block from the Grotto of Lourdes. Super convenient and my family also thoroughly enjoyed their lunch. I LOVED THE BANANA SPLIT. I'm a visitor from North America and I have never had a better Banana Split, nothing will ever live up to theirs. The service was amazing, very inviting and welcoming.
