We visited as a group of 8 and had been looking forward to it due to such a varied menu but everyone in the group was disappointed. The atmosphere was very flat, no background music and as a group of 8 we were naturally the noisiest table and felt the stares of everyone around us. The tables are set beautifully and the prices are good, but those are the only positives. When we arrived there was no welcome from the waiter, we actually felt a bit of an inconvenience to a virtually empty restaurant. The spaghetti dishes were very oily and those who had it didn’t finish. I had the gnocchi alla sorrentina and while it was ok it was nothing like the dish it was called - rubbery melted cheese on the top and not much flavour. Those who had the steak/chicken and chips they were served on a massive plate but no presentation and quite a small portion of sad looking fries.
