Amazing. Three days in a row we came here and it does everything you want. The first day we stopped for a drink while waiting to meet someone and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the busy lunch crowd. Because the staff were so nice we came for dinner the next night. We didn't have a reservation but we got seated as a five not long after arriving at about 9pm. Again the staff were very nice. The food was excellent. Relatively simple but done very well. The potatoes are the best you'll have anywhere (the beef and lamb are great too!). The deserts also took us by surprise and are really great, the meringue comes served like a Chinese takeaway but was utterly fantastic! The food, service and price was so good we instantly booked the following night and it was the same.

At the recommendation of a local starving artist, a 2pm "lunch" for two American visitors consisted of two orders of lamb (shaved thin slices in a reduction sauce), potato slices baked in a creamy cheese sauce with leaks, two smaller but tasty salads, one glass of.local red wine and a glass of white wine, and one order of Tarte Tatin for less than 80€ . If that seems like a lot, you don't appreciate what terrific food you are in for. After 2 weeks in St Remy this was the image I had of classic Provençal cooking. We were seated outside on a ring road around St Remy and the traffic was pretty intense, but the food was so good the traffic was...

We had a really great experience here! The chef at our hotel recommended it. It doesn't look like much when you enter. A bar with cigarettes and tobacco behind the counter plus several tables, but we were pleasantly surprised. On one wall, there is a set of shelves with glass doors displaying mostly local wines. We let the owner select a local Alpilles red wine for us and I was shocked when it came to the table at a perfect temperature of ~55 degrees F. We had asparagus salad for entree, steak and sea bass for our mains and a tiramisu and strawberries w/cream. Highly recommend...

Great location and vibe. We ended up here as they are open for mid afternoon for food (which is sometimes hard to find). Service was very good. We were looked after quickly. I had a salad which was large and greens were fresh. It was topped with some goat cheese and asparagus. Dressing could have been a bit more flavourful but it was completely acceptable. My husband enjoyed his beef tartare. They have a good wine list and we enjoyed a lovely bottle of rose. Overall good value, good portion size, with a killer location. Would eat here again.,

They we're so kind to me and my American family compared to the restaurant we were at the night before who refused to serve us. I ordered the small salad with duck and it was amazing and even when I tryed the duck liver for the first time and didn't like it they brought a plate of fresh tomatoes to replace it! Overall the service was amazing and the food was even better, I would definitely come back anyday for they're wonderfull food and service!
