Had a small dinner selection, with more fresh seafood options available. My husband ordered the plat du jour which was a chicken dish with potatoes, mushrooms and sauce and I ordered a cheeseburger. He selected a starter of a soft boiled egg with Parmesan truffle sauce and he LOVED it! He even took his bread and started wiping the inside to get the last drop. When we got our meal, my cheeseburger had bacon - which I don't eat- so husband and I swapped which actually worked out better for us. He wasn't all that excited about his chicken dish. Well, he missed out because the chicken dish was rather tender and quite juicy; so I enjoyed every last drop of the chicken! The cheeseburger had some type of sauce on it and my husband was speechless while eating it. He said it was delicious and could eat it by itself. We were thoroughly satisfied with our meal, but unfortunately the desserts we got were mediocre at best. They were soggy, lost all of the crispiness and had a filling that was on the bland side. Read moreThe L’Aile ou La Cuisse restaurant is a true gem of a restaurant and perhaps one of the best I have visited in Provence in recent memory. I was greeted at the door by the manager and immediately seated even though I had failed to reserve, at a lovely corner table. The fish I was served was most delectable and the house Rosé was tasty. Upon entering, you pass by a beautiful display of desserts artistically arranged in the window front. To my surprise, when you order dessert, you get to walk up to that display and choose one of those delicious creations! What a delightful ending to a most wonderful experience. My lunch at L’Aile ou La Cuisse was a perfect 10!! Can’t...

The evening menu at 29,90€ was good value and tasty. The wine recommendation (Abbaye Sainte-Marie de Pierredon) was no bargain at 42€ the bottle but an extraordinary choice. Service by all waiters was attentive and friendly and the best at the end: For lovers of French patisserie - the desserts from the Vitrine are to die for! I happily give a 5 ⭐️ review for...
