This place had exceptional food! I can honestly say one of the best meals I had in France! The duck was seared perfectly; with a nice crispy sear and lovely duck fat and a tender juicy temperature inside. I did not want the dish to end, I was dreading eating the last bite. The steak with poivre sauce (pepper sauce) was heavenly!!!! It had more flavor packed in one nibble than I've experienced in an entire meal at some restaurants! The steak was seasoned so beautifully, you didn't even need the sauce, but it complimented it perfectly. We enter the restaurant to celebrate my daughters birthday. The waiter imediatly said: You can sit down but you have to eat. Are you going to eat? That’s for a start was very rude. We said, ok. Then we chose a table out of the sun and he said, this is for 2 people. (We were in 3) he could just approach the other table on the side. Then he insist for us to sit in a bigger table half of the table in the hot sun. (My mum 74 years old, was very uncomfortable sitting in the sun) the service was very bad and rude by a very young guy. So not elegant at all. This restaurant proved to be nothing but a lie which treated me poorly. The service was not only poor and slow, but rude. The waiters insulted me multiple times with xenophobic attitudes. I’d even bother to ignore this if the food was even acceptable, but this restaurant is an insult to any form of cuisine. Deplorable service, deplorable food with the bonus of a horrible atmosphere due to a lack of infrastructure for the current heat wave in France made for a horrible experience I would never recommend.
