Lovely evening, good with kids. English translated menu for those that don’t speak French, and staff can communicate perfectly well in English if necessary. Allergy considerate! If you have food allergies, present them up front and the very knowledgeable staff will show you all ingredients so you can make something work—a real necessity when traveling with severe allergies. Food prepared in house is delicious and rapid, would enjoy under any circumstance. Will likely eat here again, and recommend without Reservations, with professional and charming staff! Note: this place serves various types of toast, with toppings, like an open-faced sandwich. Tartine = toast. If you are in the mood for something heavier, you might look elsewhere.

We ordered the cod and tuna, and both were excellent. They came on large pieces of toast, almost the length of my forearm. It came with a choice of salad or soup, and both were very good (the gazpacho was lovely, with fresh herbs).

We were quite full at the end but the nice server persuaded us to try dessert, for which we ordered the coconut custard - a delightful finish...

We found the unpretentious exterior inviting, and the obviously local clientele inspired confidence.
