Disappointing Experience – Arrogant Owner and Bland Food

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place truly deserves it. The food was far from authentic Indian cuisine – lacking the rich flavors and spices you'd expect. Everything tasted bland and watered down, clearly catered to an unknowing palate rather than those familiar with real Indian food.

What made the experience worse was the attitude of the owner. Instead of being welcoming or receptive to feedback, he came off as arrogant and dismissive. When politely asked about a dish, he responded as if we should be grateful just to be eating there. Hospitality? Nowhere to be found.

The ambiance is forgettable, and for the prices they charge, you’re better off finding a spot that actually serves food with heart and hospitality. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a genuine Indian dining experience. Definitely won’t...

Being an Indian when you go to an Indian restaurant in a foreign country you expect a homely treatment, in our case it was the exact opposite. My wife and I made our reservation on Valentine's day, entered the restaurant and stood there for 5 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge our presence but the staff was busy attending the other local customers. Since noone greeted us we went to the bar counter at the end of the restaurant to talk to one of the staff. He impolitely slide us a menu saying that tonight they are only serving a set menu. He didn't even bother to greet, a simple hello or bonsoire. My wife and I decided we won't spend such a pleasant evening treated like we don't belong there. We arrived a little bit late, because on their website they mentioned that the closure is at 11:30pm but in fact it was at in fact they close at 11:00pm In terms of decoration the restaurant is perfect. Staff was a little bit annoyed or to be fair surprised because we came late noting that we called their 07 number but they advised to call the 01 in the future reservation. Food is very good but not excellent or exceptional. The Naan au fromage avec du miel is the exceptional one, I highly recommend it. Butter chicken is also very good, Biriani is good but I will not order it next time. At the end the manager explained in a very respectful way their schedule and he clarified the misunderstanding by saying due to Covid all the restaurants...
