37 Lodge La Défense Courbevoie — Hotel in Arrondissement of Nanterre

I recently stayed at 37 Lodge and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Here are some points to consider before booking a stay:

Temperature Control: The rooms are uncomfortably cold due to the thermostat being locked at a chilly 18 degrees Celsius. Despite asking the reception for assistance, I was informed that this was a cost-saving measure, which I find unacceptable. This lack of control over the room's temperature led to discomfort and even contributed to me catching a cold. For families traveling with children or elderly individuals, I strongly advise against staying here due to the potential health risks associated with such low temperatures.

Unfriendly Customer Service: The customer service at 37 Lodge left much to be desired. Staff members were unfriendly and unhelpful, which detracted from the overall experience. Their lack of hospitality only added to the disappointment of my stay.

Dodgy Neighborhood: The surrounding neighborhood of 37 Lodge is concerning, with suspicious individuals present in the area. This added an element of unease during my stay and made me feel uneasy about venturing outside alone, especially after dark.

Noise Levels: Noise was a constant issue during my time at 37 Lodge, making it difficult for light sleepers to get a good night's rest. Whether it was coming from other guests or external sources, the persistent noise disrupted the peace and quiet I had hoped for during my stay.

Cleanliness Concerns: The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. Upon arrival, I noticed several areas that were not properly cleaned, which was disappointing and detracted from the overall comfort of the accommodation.

In conclusion, I cannot recommend 37 Lodge based on my experience. From the lack of temperature control and unfriendly customer service to the dodgy neighborhood and cleanliness concerns, there are several factors to consider before booking a stay at this...

Runnnn!!! They give me a room with a broken bed without even telling me (I didn’t pay attention bcz I came late and tired so I slept directly without checking the room but eventhough how can I think that a hotel can give his clients rooms with broken bed!) the day after they entered my room to change the bed without telling me, touched my personal stuffs and my clothes that were on the bed and they threw them on the chair, they also kept a bag that should be thrown away in the kitchen ! Very surprising! I was very shocked when I cam back to my room and when I asked what was that bag in the kitchen, the woman on the reception didn’t answer appropriately and she was unprofessional! Also pay attention u can hear everything through the walls so if your neighbors are so active, don’t expect to sleep well! So horrible night! When I wanted to report these problems to the receptionist during the checkout, the man was not professional and started to blame me as How can I accept to stay in a room with brocken bed and started to normalize the fact that they entered the room and moved my stuffs without my permission (normally no one had to enter the room as there is no room services) he laughed at me and mocked when I told him that I didn’t feel secure and was in danger bcz of the broken bed…he didn’t understand my worry and my point! This is so bad especially that the neighborhood is so calm and beautiful! +...

I stayed in Oct 2024 and had a good experience that is why I decided to use it on my next business visit. |First issue: I came late in thr night and had to pay EUR 10 additional for late check in, received my room, which was on the last corner but to my surprise with the sink in the kitchen full of dirty pots and rests of food in bags. |The man in the reception gave me another room, but strangely to my surprise he wanted to come up with me and check it... he came up... as needing to check that the room was not being used... the new room had 1 sofa bed already unfold and covered, and the double bed was "made" but not properly decorated as when you receive a room.|The room in general was not properly maintained, the walls had stains, next to the bed even red (blood?) So the cover of the corner of the table in the kitchen was off, the shower not properly cleaned from calc dirt. ||But the worst was to come, the bed was just with the white sheets, and could see a black hair beneath the pillow, and the bed's frame on the left side was broken, so as the lamp in the night table too, did not work and was hanging. I sat down and it was really deep. The room was facing the street and I suppose the trash cans, so at 5am the truck unloading/loading could be clearly heard as next to me.
