This cannot be called an Italian restaurant. While the staff was funny and chill, the food was the opposite of Italian. We ordered Pesto pasta and lasagne Bolognese. To start with the pasta, the sauce was full of CREAM! Pesto is not supposed to have any cream in it, it was like eating whipped cream. It didn't have any basil taste, no pinoli or parmesan, we left it quite uneaten. For the lasagne it was generally not that bad, but the tastes didn't quite match as it was quite sweet and acidic. The bechamel sauce was very little and the tomato sauce was too much. In general it was quite wet, but overall edible. The only good thing was the Spritz, it was surprisingly done right, I've seen many places in Paris doing it very badly so this was a good surprise, that's why I'm adding a star. Otherwise this is not really an Italian restaurant, just a wannabe. P.S. I also saw a pizza with soft eggs on it and this convinced me again...

I had a tomato & mozzarella , which they serve with pesto … not everyone’s taste
Then Avocado & Crevettes which was basically a flood of mayonnaise and a few tiny gambas, drowning in that very mayonnaise
Then a mousse of chocolate with pieces of aluminium wrapper inside
Finally , amaretto with ice (?!)
The waiter was kind enough to switch it to a non ice version ( so I thought ) … but came back with the diluted amaretto … diluted because he only separated the ice cubes which had already partly dissolved

Jamais vu des penne all arrabbiata avec des anchois, des câpres et les pâtes clairement maltraitées. La carbonara à la crème fraîche et lardons .... une honte pour la cuisine italienne et pour un "chef" qui sort un plat comme ça. Le dessous des pizza brûlé indique que le four n est pas nettoyé régulièrement. Je cherche encore la truffe dans la pizza à la truffe.... je conseille vivement au propriétaire du restaurant de retrouver l esprit de la vraie cuisine italienne afin de servir à ses clients des plats dignes de la tradition culinaire italienne.
