On continue. Bref. Nous ne...

Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at La Paillote in Les Saintes was so bad that I feel obligated to warn others. From start to finish, it was a disaster.

First, the wait was absolutely unbearable. We sat there for what felt like an eternity before anyone even acknowledged us, and when they finally did, the service was beyond rude and indifferent. It was as if they were doing us a favor by letting us eat there.

Then came the food—or should I say, the overpriced, bland, and clearly frozen excuse for a meal. Everything tasted stale, microwaved, and completely uninspired. If I wanted frozen food, I could have saved my money and gone to a...

Super funky little spot. Food was good and definitely with a Caribbean flair. Wasn’t the cleanest but the staff was very kind and the rose wine was super cold, which was amazing after cruising around in the sun all day. We also ended up purchasing some local artwork while we were there. Not much of any English, so be prepared to bust out your French. The prices were super fair. If you are looking for a late lunch spot on this tiny island, this is one to check out, we were here at 14:30 after most others were closing. Not a tourist trap, this is for the locals. Would definitely return and recommend you...

Really enjoyed our visit here. This is a small seafood place right on the water. Very local vibe. Plastic tables and chairs. Attentive service. They had a nice three course lunch for $28 euros. Their fish crepe was delicious, and the main fish filet platter was excellent. We finished with the coco ice cream, which was a perfect finish. The restaurant had lots of fans and mister’s to keep you cool on hot days. Would definitely come back here!

We had a lovely lunch at La Paillote and it was a delicious affair. We had the beignet & ceviche as starters and grilled tuna as main. They were all quite good, although my husband didn’t like the side dishes. We both enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the efficient service. Their house cocktails were also very good, esp when they add a little bit of rum.
