We had the pleasure of meeting the amazing people who work at L’Amer! We were there on the second day of their opening day and we loved the atmosphere and hospitality! Special shout out to Paul, Melodie and Fanzy, who were attentive, offered great customer service and demonstrated excellent team work ! We shared , at Fanzy’s suggestion “À partager nems… presentation was very eye catching, full of flavour and the portions were perfect to share.. this started off our meal with great enthusiasm! Food was excellent and well-priced. Host and wait staff were helpful and friendly. Food came out quickly and was tasty. All was going well until our friends showed up and we moved from the restaurant to the bar to join them. The bartender was slow, grumpy, in fact downright rude. She deliberately and slowly served others ahead of us, played with her phone while avoiding eye contact, repeatedly forgot our order, and then messed up the tab too, charging us for our friends' drinks when he had paid in advance for his. 11.12.2024 Obviously 1st day of (re-?)opening.

Food and outlook was great, service very attentive, friendly and engaged. The Burger was great, the Poisson a la Tahitienne was even devine!

Two (smaller) recommendations from our end: Light situation is bad, very sterile and way too 'cold' bright (we were the ones hanging our napkins over the bright light), no ambience, should (and can easily) be improved Fans would be helpful, especially the corner at walls was very warm.

Keep on, we can recommend this place and would come back again!
