A young enthusiast just recently opened this charming family restaurant. It’s found just on top of several touristy restaurants in Bastia’s old harbour. L’Epica has everything to become on of Bastia’s hidden gems! The head chef (and owner’s mother) cooks delicious fresh food. Read moreThe worst meal we had in corsica so far, we order red wine, mussels, the octopus salad and the sardines, almost everything was disappointing. The wine came tasting vinegary, we asked for a change and he brought back the same wine. The mussels were the smallest i have ever seen, smaller than a nail, they came in a plate for snails and the holes were bigger than them. The octopus salad came like a normal salad (lettuce, cherry tomatoes..) with canned octopus. Not a big portion either very underwhelming for the 16€ they charged for it but not less underwhelming than the 13.5€ baby mussels with more breadcrumbs in them than mussel. Wouldn't go back, wouldn't...
