A bit disappointing experience as the restaurant is listed in the Michelin guide. Firstly, the room is small and stuffy with kitchen smells coming into the dining hall. The entrees were a bit strange as we felt the trout was from a package sprinkled with dill and olive oil. Likewise the so called tuna belly salad included canned tuna belly covered with peeled tomato and foam (foam was delicious). For the main courses we took what they call langoustine (boiled prawns) with some veggies and hake fish with spinach. The taste was ok but the spinach was over salted. I also noticed that the waiter was putting bread in baskets with his own hands after which he wiped hands at the back of his jeans and obviously touched many things with his hands. If you are picky about hygiene, probably skip the bread. Final conclusion, we didn’t understand why this restaurant is listed in Micheline guide as there is nothing special about...
Read moreThe food experience was very good but the overall experience wasn’t the best. I would still recommend going as I think we just had a bit of bad luck. We were in a party of 5 but three of us were a lot later due to circumstances. Two of us were already sitting down but we weren’t helped for about 30 minutes. They did not ask us if we wanted a drink or anything. When we ordered the wine eventually we had to wait thirty minutes more, seeing the waiter/host serve everyone but us to eventually hear they did not have the wine. I think this is a lovely restaurant for locals and french people and the restaurant has a lovely cosy atmosphere. However it seems not the best place for tourists. The food was lovely! Maybe a bit overpriced but overall good! I wouldn’t recommend the white tuna appetizer as it was very dry and the murue was very bland. However, the côte de bœuf was very good and the pomme de terres was the best...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I went to L'Entre Deaux on Wednesday bank holiday in Biarritz. It is a super cute spot in the city center a bit hidden from the crowded spots but still very central. The place is soon cozy, elegant and minimalistic. The staff is very nice and welcoming. The food is just incredible. I loved every bite of what we've ordered. The asparagus were fenomenal, tender and creamy at the same time. The cheakpeas cream at the start was the perfect way to enter a meal that we knew was going to be fantastic. Le filet mignon after was very well cooked and flavourful. The wine that accompanied the dinner was amazing with a sweet aftertaste of honey. In the end the dessert le chocolate mi cuit was just another pleasant surprise. Dinner for 2 was 138€ which I think is super fair...
