Olatua Biarritz — Restaurant in Bayonne

We first ended up at the one below where we had the nicest barman with the friendliest service, had a few drinks and enjoyed the beautiful view. We realised they also have a restaurant on the roof and the bar man advised us to check it out. We first tried to get into the restaurant with our drinks from downstairs, that didn't work 🤣 after we have finished our drinks we managed to get inside and found a nice table with another great view. The restaurant only serves food from 19:00 so we opted for a few drinks before we could order food. 19:00 arrived but the waiter never arrived again. When we were tired of waiting we were ready to get up and leave, the waiter suddenly appeared. We ordered, food was delicious which made up for the poor service. We arrived at 7pm and were put on a waiting list for the rooftop, you leave your phone number and can get a drink at the downstairs bar. We were called at 8:15pm, Just in time to have some food before the sunset. It is a beautiful spot for the sunset, felt very special. Service was quick. The food was great, maybe a bit too pricey, but worth going. The service personnel was very nice, we arrived when the place was full, but we could wait at the bar downstairs and got a call from them when there was a free table.
