This is no polished rooftop bar with pretense. It’s a raw perch carved into the rocks at Port Vieux, where you sit at sea’s edge and the waves applaud your every sip. You lean in, listen to the foam breathing, feel the salt, this is where the ocean meets hospitality on its own stubborn terms.
You’ve had the best piña coladas of your life here, and it wouldn’t surprise me the ice is precise, the pineapple not over sweet, and the rum punch sharp enough to slice through the sea breeze. And the Aperol Spritz? Light and orange as molten sunset. Beers casually golden, foam whispering “relax.” Drink in hand, the horizon paints itself richer with every passing minute. Eden Rock Café is that rare animal: not afraid to let the waves gather your applause or call you out for overstaying. Your drink tastes of salt and sunset, the bartenders know their way around a rum and the food punches just hard enough to remind you you’re alive. Eden Rock isn’t about perfection it’s about presence. And when the last light drops behind the water, you’ll know exactly...
Read moreI’ve never written a review so I guess that says it all…… Food was certainly reasonable and the atmosphere good. When I asked to have a quiet word with the Manager she immediately summoned to two waitresses and a full scale debate erupted. In the end I had to ask “who is the client, how much have I just spent, and why cant you and I have a quiet discussion and not open the debate to the two waitresses…..” Go by all means, but you will be pushed to finish from the start………. Very poor given the great...
Read moreWent at 3pm , asked for a table of four, was told no tables, asked to wait at bar. Waited at bar, no service . Asked could we get the next available table, was told no reservations at this time. Was then told kitchen closed and only tapas - but continued to see other food being ordered. The worst service in Biarritz. There is easily ten members of staff who are more interested in talking to eachother. Had to ask to order, ask for another drink, then before we were given the option to order anything further she asked for us to settle our bill. I asked tor another drink, he shrugged his shoulder and walked off,, before I could even order the second drink. We had planned to sit for cocktails but felt rushed to leave. Staff very unfriendly and unfortunately the food is...
