Read morePalmitos as a whole is good vibes and a cool concept on a great street, quick service and the waitresses are nice. However, we wouldnt recommend el taco del diablo. A few things: when someone orders 3 chorizo quesadillas, they expect each one to have chorizo in them, not one slice of supermarket chorizo on the side - I’m not exaggerating (if there was any chorizo in them, it would also be better if they were diced and fried). The burrito I had was genuinely 90% filled with rice, I should’ve got the burrito bowl like my girlfriend as they can’t hide how much actual good stuff they put in that. Lastly, when someone has to pay 0.70 extra for sauce, they at the least expect to have a big pot of it, not about 1ml worth drizzled over the dish in question. Lastly, while not exactly their fault, they should reword the mini tacos deal, as it is half quesadillas, which is only mentioned explicitly in the description and is actually really bad value for money. We would have asked for quite a lot of it to be struck off the bill but we had already paid (a lot) before we...
Read moreThey ruined a wonderful restaurant. This used to be the Palmarium and in the afternoon they would start cooking a huge paella, that by 7pm was absolutely delicious. Now it's a 'food market'. It has 5 different menus. You order online and it's extremely difficult and confusing. I challenge you to find a simple glass of wine on the menu. It's there but it is not easy to find. The staff are stressed, and rude and not there to help you, but to chuck your food at you that you have ordered online and paid for up front (shame - it was terrible). The music is extremely loud. No one can communicate. The staff can't communicate with each other, or with customers, and customers are unable to talk with each other. I am sitting in the restaurant right now and looking around I have not seen a single customer or staff member smile. To top it all off, our young daughter's meal did not arrive until after my husband and I had finished our food, and the food was terrible. The 'paella' was microwaved saffron rice with a bit of chicken and a few dry prawns on the side. What an...
