Dolc' & Café — Restaurant in Beauvais

Wonderful. Best waffle I had in a long time, plus the crème chantilly (crème fouettée in Parisian) was purrrfect. Chocolate was a cocoa rather, but again, crème chantilly, best thing since sliced bread. In French standard, not too expensive, yet the quality you get for it is mouth watering. I'd even dare to say you won't get this type of for this price in Paris itself, tho many other cafés in Beauvais charge even more so than similar Parisian ones. Anyhow, if you decide to wonder around Beauvais, do stop to drink coffee here and have a waffle. Also, the senior waiter is very gallant and bravely stood through my incomplete and distorted-by-Paris français, so 10 points for...

Nous nous sommes rendu dans cet établissement pour goûter, mais les patrons nous font vite comprendre que c’est pas possible par soit disant manque de place, même en extérieur (alors qu’il y avait des tables de dispos) Mais le réel problème c’est que nous avions nos enfants avec nous, et c’est pas la première fois que l’on se fait la remarque que lorsque que nous demandons pour nous installer c’est jamais possible malgré les places.. Notez à l’entrée interdit aux enfants ça ira plus vite, plutôt que de faire une tête qui fait bien comprendre que ça gêne et nous dire que c’est pas possible.
