We had a very enjoyable meal here - the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The setting is delightful and the staff are very friendly. Our only comments would be that it is difficult to book ahead of time as bookings are only accepted 2 months in advance (we live overseas and planned this trip many months in advance) and there was no-one to ask for a new fork when I accidentally dropped it (my fault not theirs but it in the end, I had to take one from the neighbouring table as no staff appeared for several minutes) and we had to get up to pay the bill rather than settle it at the table. These are just minor complaints, though, and I would highly recommend...

A visit to this gorgeous little restaurant is a must when visiting Bergerac, the food, the service, the setting, the ambience are all, quite simply, stunning. A real hidden gem! My husband and I visited at the beginning of July to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we could not have made a better choice. We ate at Le Jardin Secret on a warm Friday evening, and had a lovely time. The setting, in a small private garden, is very relaxed, and the service attentive, helpful and very friendly. But it's the food that is the star. It's a small menu - 2 choices for each course - but wonderful fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection.
