Nestled in the heart of Blois, with a fantastic location (especially if you're visiting the magnificent château!), Les Arcades was a true highlight of our trip. As tourists, we were looking for an authentic French dining experience, and Les Arcades delivered beautifully. The standout dishes for us were the incredible selection of cheeses – each one bursting with flavor and perfectly presented. We also savored the classic coq au vin, a rich and comforting dish that truly tasted homemade. Even the salads were a delight, fresh and vibrant with local ingredients. The atmosphere of dining under the arcades was simply lovely. It offered a wonderful spot to soak in the ambiance of Blois while enjoying our meal. The service was also noteworthy. Despite our limited French, the staff were friendly and patient, making us feel very welcome. Communication was manageable, and their warm smiles went a long way! The location couldn't be more convenient for exploring the sights of Blois. After a morning of sightseeing, it was the perfect place to relax and refuel. We found the prices to be reasonable for the quality of food and the overall experience. If you're a tourist in Blois looking for a taste of authentic French cuisine in a charming setting with welcoming service, Les Arcades is a fantastic choice. Don't miss their amazing cheese and the comforting coq au vin – you won't be...
Read moreI was pretty disappointed. All the restaurants were full and I think the kitchen staff was overwhelmed. It took close to an hour to get my food. Once I got it, the chicken and barbecue sauce were good, but the other two pieces of meat (I got the mixed grill plate) were tough as leather (although I had ordered the beef medium rare). They brought me a new plate, where the Hamburger patty was pretty much raw. The fries were ok. The only thing that I enjoyed was the wine. The staff was friendly and trying, so I'd like to think that the food would be better at a quieter time. The outdoor seating was...
