Cremerie La Montagne — Restaurant in Bonneville

I enjoyed a very tasty dinner there. The place specializes in grilled meat (made outside). Its placed in the outskirts of town amidst trees and grass that still allow a beautiful view of the mint blanc and surrounding mountains. All of this sets a relaxed and open atmosphere. The food itself was skillfully made but nothing fancy in it. The meat portion is served with a generous side dish and a refreshing salad. The real miracle is the price - comparable to that of a decent hamburger in the center. I daresay this was the best value for money meal I had in Chamonix (having eaten there for a couple of month). A hidden gem just outside Chamonix, with much quieter, rural surroundings. Reminds of a nice garden party place, with lots of nature, birds and cosy alpine huts around.
