La Toque Cuivrée — Restaurant in Bordeaux

Too bad the service was so unprofessional and rude that it was enough to ruin the whole experience. Visited Feb 7th, towards the closing time. The girls behind the counter (and I say girls because of the way they present themselves) not acknowledging the customers. No welcome or hi, but ok not a big deal. And then I order the cannelés, in English (and also pointing) because I don’t speak French. I know this is France, and I don’t expect them to speak English, but at the same time I expect them to be a bit more respectful then ignoring me and turning back to their friends in the back and just chatting amongst themselves “you think she means the big ones?” and such. And I pay, say thank you and bye, and again I am just ignored and not a single word back....

One of the worst textured Caneles I’ve ever had in my life. Gummy and had zero air pockets inside. Flavor profile was nice but again the gummy tapioca like inside is embarrassing to say the least. Go somewhere else for caneles unless you want to be thoroughly disappointed. They are cheap...

Why spend in a cannele more than 1€, even more than 2€, when you can have these amazing ones in different sizes for either 40 cents the small one, 50 cents the medium and 70 cents the big one.
