Beautiful café, very girly

The window-dressing for this place was absolutely on point. Even though we probably didn't need it, couldn't resist heading in.

We had a sirop de violette, an ice tea and a slice of pistachio & berries cake. Sirop was nice, they had a good selection of other flavours too so it was nice to try something a bit different. Wife didn't really like her ice tea as it was a little bitter rather than the sweetened kind she was expecting. I tried it and thought it was fine though. Cake was good, but it was more berries than pistachio.

From what we tried the cakes possibly looked nicer than they tasted. However would have to try their other cakes before I could back that up, and besides it was still good, so I didn't even feel bamboozled.

They were really busy when we came in and the poor girl that eventually waited our table got a bit of stern talking to when the boss noticed we were still sitting waiting to order. We didn't mind too much, we probably should have just said something instead of waiting patiently.

Decor was nice, lots of pink and pastels. Plenty of groups of girls or families with young girls having...

Great spot for lunch - we went during the summer weather so we enjoyed the afternoon outside on the Chartons Market terrace. We shared different quiches as recommended by the service team, didn't dissapoint - portions are well-sized, dishes are well flavoured. The service was a slow while we were there (but it was also very busy). The home-made pies and cakes are a must if you have a sweet tooth. Don't forget to nip inside and have a look at the fresh...

Well I wish I could do a complete review and recommend the place but I didn’t get a chance to. I sent in the early afternoon sat down in a busy cafe and waited, and waited, the waitress seemed more interested in her coffee machine that serving new customers. So after 15 minutes staring at the ceiling I left The food on the other tables looked nice - shame I didn’t get to try any. Mind you prices...

Very pretty cafe. Had the lunch offer, quiche, cake, iced tea for €19.50 I'm not sure if it is a French tart thing, but Quiche had a soggy bottom, which was disappointing and would have liked more salad. Flavours good. Nice cake.
