Meunier is a very good alternative to classic French cuisine, it's a sort of fusion restaurant with a significative attention to the quality of ingredients. We tried some entrées (very good the "salade de chevre chaud" e "la tartare de poisson du jour" ), then we had the main dishes: very good the sald thai, even if the pork inside could be cut in more little pieces, so good and succulent the "croustillant de volaille". We had to wait quite too much the courses, but the quality was high. Price fair: 40€ each with also 2 wine bottles...

It’s a bit off the beaten track, and frequented largely by locals; we discovered the place quite by accident. What a great find! We liked it so much, we came back 4 times during our week-long holiday in Bordeaux. The wait staff were all super friendly. The tapas are delicious, and change every day. The wine list is a bit limited, though – there was only one red Bordeaux wine on the list! Prices...

I ordered the octopus and it was one of the best octopus dishes I've ever had. Perfectly tender and a wonderful light meal on a hot day. And after reading some of the other reviews - if you sit outside you have to expect the other tables around you to be smoking - that's just the nature of sitting...
