Sometimes you want a break from French life and need a pint. This place lets you escape the oppression of French society for a little bit. Close your eyes and listen to the rugby fans cheering…. The froth of a Guinness on your mustache, chicken pot pie smell from the kitchen. Rowdy French students loudly discussing their philosophy exams… a Science teacher sipping a Kilkenny grading papers. And always friendly staff tending to your needs in what seems a foreign (unknown to France) customer service quality....

Lovely British pub - felt like we were back in the UK and didn’t feel like a tourist trap or too jammy. Great prices on food and drink, especially for the area. Amazing tunes. We didn’t eat but the food smelt and looked amazing. Spent a couple of hours here while working/waiting to catch our bus to the airport (from right next door) and loved it. Staff were also friendly and welcoming....

It's a nice English pub in a relatively quiet neighbourhood re nightlife. The staff are really friendly and the burgers apparently rather good. I would question as a tourist in Bordeaux why on earth you would want to go to a pub and have a pie and a pint. But...
