My favorite restaurant in Bordeaux 😍⭐️✨
Dining at Ost is nothing short of a culinary revelation. From the moment you step inside, you are enveloped in an atmosphere that exudes sophistication and warmth. The decor is a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy charm, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Each dish is meticulously crafted with the freshest ingredients. My favorite dish is the Suprême de volaille fermière, served on a ginger-infused rice. I have never had anything like that. The chicken is incredibly tender and bursting with flavor, perfectly complemented by the aromatic and slightly spicy ginger rice. It’s truly amazing and a must-try for anyone visiting.
As someone with coeliac disease, dining out can often be a challenge, but the staff at Ost went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. They accommodate my meal to be gluten-free with such kindness and attention to detail, ensuring that my experience was both safe and enjoyable.
I would recommend Dining at Ost in a heart beat and will personally return as soon as I...
Read moreThis was a meal and experience to remember! It began with a lovely introduction to the menu and a very helpful guide with the wines. We began with cocktails and were amazed with the expert Old Fashioned - Davine and made with an expert hand. The house champagne was perfect! We shared an open ravioli starter that was light, deep in flavor and very well executed. Then onto a bottle of Bordeaux white (expertly suggested) and the shared deboned sea bass with cockles and mussels and a sauce that we will be contemplating for quite some time. We finished the meal with the signature dessert (it’s everything they say it is) and another floating island dessert because we didn’t want this wonderful meal to end. Hats off the chef and the amazing team at this restaurant! The friendliness and high level of execution is something they should be very proud of. This was one of a favorite meals of the year. Thank you to the entire...
Read moreWe had such a great evening at OST. The lovely team working here are so welcoming, full of energy and passion for what they are creating. It's clearly a very happy team. The concept of the restaurant is that the main courses are enough for 2 people and are shared. We started with the ravioli and red tuna (incredible!!), shared the perfectly cooked sea bass and finished with the beautiful lemon meringue which had a coriander cream (stunning!) and their signature chocolate cookie which is an amazing tasting mix of chocolate, salted caramel and olives (trust me...it works). The lovely couple running the place explained everything to us about the dishes and I wish them every success with their restaurant. The music just happened to be all our favourite songs as well. Apologies for the lack of photos...I was too...
