Restaurant Bui Bui — Restaurant in Bordeaux

An astonishingly lucky find during my short visit to Bordeaux. BuiBui is a fantastic restaurant that serves wonderful Taiwanese food made by expert Taiwanese chefs. The food style is casual and comforting, but still presented in an elegant and appealing manner. The owner Marco has expertly curated the wine list which is extensive and offers a wide variety of both affordable and yet delicious wines. The setting is smart but retains a relaxed feeling and is coupled with exceptionally charming hospitality - Marco and his staff were all extremely friendly and I was instantly made to feel completely welcome and at ease.

I cannot recommend this establishment enough to anyone visiting Bordeaux. You will not regret it. It will certainly be my first place to return to when I next visit! Thank you for such an enjoyable...

Went here to eat because the sommelier at the winery we went to in Saint-Émilion recommended it. Food was great, especially if you’re craving Asian food while traveling in Bordeaux, but Marco is also an expert sommelier. Definitely talk to him about your preferences or just let him lead you to a bottle or two that will pair perfectly with the food.
