Restaurant Le Cou'lisse — Restaurant in Bordeaux

We had a lovely dinner on our first evening in Bordeaux. It was a bit of a lucky find as my wife wanted to go for something light. The menu was a great mix of classics and modern food with Asian influences.

As a starter i had the carrot coconut veloute which was excellent. My main was the paupillete de veau with an awesome sauce. Usually I avoid mustard sauce but this one was mild and tasty nonetheless. Excellent! My wife opted for the Thai salad, which was nice, fresh, colorful. Perfect for her, but the veal was better.

The desserts were a nice wrap-up. Overall a great price value. Food was awesome...

Wow, what a good atmosphere. The owner has so much energy and personality, and really cares about her cooked, and making sure people are happy with everything. Really good chilled music. Excellent food at a great price! This is the second time I have visited Bordeaux and the second time I have come to this lovely restaurant.
