Chez Lin is undoubtedly my go-to Chinese restaurant in Paris. As a Chinese student on exchange from Singapore, I often miss home-cooked food. One day, I stumbled upon this unassuming and simple-looking restaurant, but don't let its exterior fool you. From the first time I visited, I made it a point to return whenever I needed a quick Chinese fix. The âŹ12 meal (comes with 2 meats 4 cold side dishes and even a dessert), delicately prepared by Madame Lin herself, never disappoints. You can see the effort and dedication in the meticulous plating, and each bite reflects the care put into the dish.
Madame Lin is always kind and cheerful, her positivity shining through in our conversations. Even on the day before my flight back to Singapore, I made sure to stop by for a meal and ordered an extra takeaway. She kindly gave me an extra meatball as a parting gift.
