I just left the KFC in Boulogne and I’m really disappointed. I ordered a Master Box for €5, but I only received 4 items: the fries – KFC’s signature product – were missing from my takeaway bag.
I went back upstairs, and I must say the staff were friendly, especially the new manager who seemed very professional. But the organization and service clearly need improvement. It was noon, right in the middle of the rush, and I saw an employee wasting time sticking labels on the self-order machines – completely unnecessary – while his colleagues were working flat out.
How can fries be forgotten in such a simple order? On top of that, there were no available seats despite two floors, since the restaurant is tiny. Some kiosks were dirty and the touchscreens barely worked. The chicken I ate was neither hot nor fresh; it felt like it was from the day before, really not good.
Without fries, I had no choice but to eat in silence. By the time I realized the fries were missing, I was already far away, and I can already see the haters commenting that I should have gone back to complain… But honestly, for such a simple order, this mistake is unacceptable.
In short, I feel disappointed and even betrayed by this KFC, even though I come here often. I was about to give 1/5, but I’ll give 2/5 only thanks to...

-The food is terrible and always cold, ordered or eaten on location. -the order is always wrong, again ordered and on location -the soft drinks are flat and watered down -the wait takes forever, probably the time it takes for them to forget what the order was halfway through and let the food get cold in the process.

I dunno if there was a change of franchise owner or not. Not only that the quality did changed a lot in a bad way, the service also was the worst. For just 4 corns of small chunks, u will have to wait almost 40 mins. My goodness! If not for my autistic son who prefer to eat KFC chicken, i would have stopped purchasing their chicken.
