Beers'N Paradise — Restaurant in Boulogne-sur-Mer

If you like beer, this place is a 'must-visit' to add to your Boulogne itinerary.

Tucked away a little bit from the main shopping drag, you might have to keep your wits about you to find it. But it's worth it!

Typically at least 12 beers available on pression (draught). Wetherspoons regulars may balk at the idea of paying €5 for a 33cl glass (Dec 2017). But we're not talking about Theakstons Best or the over-hyped Doom Bar here.

These are iconic Belgian and northern French beers, ranging from 6% to 11% in alcoholic strength. Each cellared in perfect condition and served - swiftly - in its own dedicated glass. At the time of our visit, Kwak, Trois Monts, Rince Cochon, Bonaparte, Paix Dieu, and Guillotine were all selling well.

The bar spreads over three levels, but it's a narrow building and the spiral staircases are steep. So those with impaired mobility may be best advised to remain at ground floor level.

Food options are pretty much limited to the sausages hanging above the bar. These are sliced on a small bacon slicer and served up in a beer glass.

If you’re searching for a good bar with a lot of beers from tap (see picture) and you like alternative rock music. This is by far the best place to be in and around boulogne sur mer!!!!! The owner is very friendly and always willing to have a chat 😎 Can’t say anything about food because we didn’t eat...

C'est la troisième fois que nous allons au Beers'n paradise et ce bar va sûrement devenir un de nos repères. Sur 3 niveaux, vous découvrez d'abord le rez de chaussée avec le bar et ses nombreuses bières soigneusement choisies. A l'étage, en mezzanine, les confortables fauteuils de ciné vous accueillent autour de tables de bois brut dans une ambiance feutrée. Au niveau inférieur, la cave voûtée et ses sièges de bus permettent de s'installer autour de tables style industriel dans une convivialité qui permet l'échange avec les voisins. Le patron n'est pas avare de conseils et sait soigner ses hôtes. Bref allez-y !!! Et au plaisir de vous...
