Les Copains — Restaurant in Boulogne-sur-Mer

We were very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. After ordering, we received our two starters fairly quickly, but then we waited over an hour for our main courses while tables that arrived after us were served. I asked the waiter three times about our food, but nothing changed. Since we have to visit the aquarium and were running out of time, we decided to cancel the mains and pay the bill — and voilà,our dishes finally arrived.

My friend had a burger, and I ordered the moules marinières. Unfortunately, the mussels were among the worst I have ever tasted.

Additionally, the terrasse seating is located right next to the kitchen’s exhaust vent. Throughout the meal, all of us were surrounded by smoke and dust, and by the end, our clothes were completely covered in an unpleasant greasy smell.

We selected this restaurant at short notice. We reserved a table and arrived on time. We were greeted warmly shown our table and soon our order was taken.
