It's a typical cheap Ibis in France. Clean and tidy but absilutely no frills. They've spent some money refurbishing at least some of the bedrooms over the past year (Dec 2017).
It's located within a small downbeat shopping mall ... though at least there is a small branch of Carrefour so you can stock up on wine and beer very close at hand.
The hotel has a reserved section within the underground car park, so again it's quite handy for lugging your shopping down there. But they charge you âŹ8 a night (Dec 2017) to park there.
Very easy to find on one of the main roads through the town, and centrally located close to plenty of shops, bars, café and restaurants. However it's an uphill walk to the old town from here, which might not be within everyone's capability.
Breakfast is currently (Dec 2017) charged at around âŹ10 a head, which represents very poor value for sweaty ham, sweaty cheese, baguettes and croissants with no hot stuff. We said no to that, and found it quite easy to get a croissant, nice cup of coffee and an orange juice around the corner for approx âŹ5 each.

The hotel shares an underground carpark with an adjacent shopping mall, to which end there is a 'secret door' from the mall into the hotel.|Back at the start of March CoVid restrictions were still in place in France, the requirement for proof of vaccination, so these were required at check in. Buy your wine, cheese, pate etc on the Saturday - The shops are closed on Sunday, even in...
Read moreRoom too small for a couple and a child. There's no minibar. The rooms need a renovation. There were a lot of mosquito, on top of that when they cleaned the room they left the window open which caused more mosquitos to enter. Very weak breakfast. There were only 2 or 3 cake qualities of bread. Breakfast charcuterie was also very weak, there were no scrambled eggs or bacon. The Staff, I just found the first lady at the reception very friendly, and a girl who attended us at the restaurant was also nice. Otherwise, almost all of the Staff were very unsympathetic. They should work more in customer service, and train workers better. Overall, we don't like it. It's a hotel not...
