Brasserie Le Saint Elme — Restaurant in Céret

We had a shocking experience here. One of my child started choking while eating an icecream here, and while coughing a piece of clear plastic came out of his throat. We were in shock. I went confront the personal about what happened, and they have the worst customer service ever. They do not know what to do in these emergency cases. They just laughed about what has happened. And they keep saying is not possible that that will happen. Finally I got to discuss with the manager. The guy is clueless, he has zero clue about what to do in these emergency situations and won’t take any responsibility. Not even reimburse what we expend there. So I won’t recommend this place to anyone. If possible I will give them zero stars. They take advantage of the location. Which has a super nice view but that’s it. Horrible Restaurant Rude Staff. Extremely bad customer service. Our order fell out of the waiters hand onto us and multiple people had cuts from glas shards and some of our drinks got pieces of glas in them. They didn’t apologized and had the audacity to charge us full price. When we wanted a discount for the trouble the staff trued to start a physical fight with us and demanded we leave. After long discussion with the owner we could get a small discount. That was the entire opposite of good customer service. So if you are a tourist and want a good time don’t go there. Ps. Have to agree with the review left yesterday by another person. We went inside as the bar/restaurant looked like it had been redone. They certainly have made a nice job inside the bar and the waiter told me to go upstairs and see how it had changed. The whole place has been tastefully refurbished and the upstairs dining area overlooking the bay has great new lighting. Did not try the food as yet but certainly we would pop in if the weather is not very good and you want a drink. Service was friendly.
