ÔVIET — Restaurant in Calvi

We were told that today there are no Bahns, as there was no Baguette available. So we chose the vegetarien Bun. It's one of my favotite dishes that I've eaten in countless Vietnamese restaurants - this one ist by far the worst. No Tofu, no herbs, cheap sald, just a few vegetables and little nuts. To sum it up: It tasted like nothing and Iwas still hungry. Also the vegetarien spring rolls didnt help. They arrived after the main dish (even though we asked for it repeatedly) and were the same tasteless experience like the Bun, also here no Tofu. If you eat meat, it might be a good choice. Insanely kind owner. The menu was completely in french, which I hardly speak and he made the effort to explain the entire thing to me without appearing annoyed or anything. Just incredibly kind. The food was also amazing, while Vietnamese food doesn’t seem like the obvious choice in a small french town you should still give it a try. Great home made Vietnamese food! The owners - a very sweet couple - were extremely friendly and offered great service. Just be aware that this restaurant is rather a take-away place - there are only a few stand-up tables in front of the restaurant that you can use if you want to eat there. I would totally recommend this place if you are looking for a delicious alternative to the traditional corsican food. :-) P.S.: great vegetarian options...
