My wife and I choose to dinned at Your restaurant at 7:30 pm on the 2nd of september 2019 to celebrate our annivesery. We had high expectations when we booked a tabel at Your restaurant, both the food and the staff was recomended by both travelguide and the reception at our hotel. I sadly have to say, that we were very disappointed by Your staff. First of all the waiter seemed like he’d rather be in annother place, fx he hung over the chair at the next table when he took our order, and gazed out in the air, when we “took to long” to order. Second he litterally were more interested in annother couple of guest - the americans as he said. Not a welcoming nor including attitude. Then he brougth us the wrong apertizer. This was corrected by hos colleage, because we couldn’t get our “own” waiters attention. About this time we were ready to leave the restaurant because of the huge feeling of being neglected. We desided to stay, but the monstrosseties continued... When we got our wine, the waiter left our table without letting us taste the wine. That we had to do our selves. In the intermission between starter and Main course we were left with our cutlery to reuse?? Not normal restaurant etiquette in our opinion. When the spoones for dessert came, it was laid sloppy at the end of the table??? A 100% wrong placement - again accordingly to normal restaurant etiquettes. Overall our experience here at L’Escales Restaurant was NOT one of our best. Unfortnually we will remember this visit a long time, because of the bad experience.
Kind regards Allan, an...

We had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. After approaching the waitress and speaking in English, we asked if Italian would be easier. Rather than helping or referring us to a colleague, she responded rudely and continued to serve us with an unwelcoming attitude. We ordered a Caesar salad, a mixed fried seafood platter, and mussels. Despite the restaurant not being busy (it was already 3 PM), we waited over 30 minutes without even being served bread. Things got worse when a French family sat next to us — they were served within 10 minutes. Meanwhile, we finally received our mixed seafood platter, which came with a hair in it. We politely asked for a replacement. Instead of getting a fresh plate, the same cold one was brought back to us shortly after. Frustrated, I went to the entrance and asked to speak with a manager. Only then did they send out an Italian manager who could understand us. To his credit, he apologized and offered to remove the dish from the bill, but by then the experience was already ruined. The food itself wasn’t great either — bland and underwhelming overall. Bottom line: avoid this place. Rude service, long waits, and poor hygiene don’t make it worth your...
