Monteverdi Café Brasserie Restaurant Bar A Vins — Restaurant in Carpentras

We were so looking forward to our evening at Monteverdi, it was recommended to us by Au Petit Patio who were not open tonight.

There were 4 of us in our party and we were served our drinks and appetizers quickly but one of us waited over 30 minutes after the 3 of us had our dinners before he was served.

The most appalling thing was that a junior server was sent to apologize - the persons who took our order and the other who served the wine ignored us. When we complained it was blamed on “computer error “.

We really expected more from this restaurant but perhaps our mistake - we were treated indifferently - they quite we honestly...

A fantastic restaurant with seating outside and plenty of room inside if you prefer. We Had two great meals here during our two week holiday near Orange and enjoyed them both, the escargot starter was lovely... the burgers are very good and huge, try the pavè du salmon with rice its superb. Very friendly owner and waitress and the service is awesome and so is the food, also try a picon beer here its a very french way of adding picon to a beer which transforms it into something wonderful ...try it you will love it at...

We went here yesterday. It's a nice restaurant a short walk from the theater or the Arc de Triomphe. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. We started with a shared plate of Escargots, a dish I've never had before, but ended up being very tasty. For the main dish I went for something I'm more familiar with, the hamburger, which cannot really go wrong and indeed had a great taste as well. All in all if you're in the area I'd recommend stopping...
