A charming restaurant located directly across from the cathedral. Delicious plates served up by a delightful couple. Food was nicely prepared and presented. I did find my bavette (flank steak) just a tad tough, although that may have to do with ordering it à point or medium rare, as opposed to rare. Wine selections were plentiful and varied, especially for such a small restaurant. Prices were very reasonable; example 5 Euro for a glass of wine and servings were generous; not the miserly 12 cl you get in Paris! With only about 7 tables, reserving is an absolute must! WC is cramped and located a few steps into rear outdoor passageway; could be attended to a bit more; the only negative. Parking: challenging if you own a vehicle 179cm tall and expensive. Try street parking outside core; surface lot located on rue de...
Read moreBooking is strongly recommended as this restaurant offers few seatings. Intimate and clean settings. Friendly and Attentive service. Menu as well as drinks (wine, basic cocktails) are displayed on chalkboards. Few dishes but all prepared on the spot! Cheese bricks (fried triangular dumpling) were a great start to the dinner: not greasy and cheesy but not too overwhelming. The pistachio crust on the fish was a delicious surprise that went well with stir fried greens. The veg-friendly dish (lasagna) was a bit dry. The big plus: really great coffee and its selection of pastries!
Great food, great view (right across the cathedral), great service: Great option...

Make a reservation and request a table with cathedral view. Service is perfect with great suggestions and good English. Food is delicious. We can highly recommend the scallion tart and pepper soup for appetizers, the duck with potatoes and cod with carrot purree for mains, and cheesecake for dessert. 2 courses for 26€ and 3 for 31€.
