Offrono porzioni abbondanti e servite in modo esteticamente accettabile i piatti proposti.

Not sure why people complain there is no cover for the sun as my photos prove. Lovely place, nice beers and rose. We didn’t try the food.

Nice little place with good coffee. The food for lunch is average. The wine ok. People are nice. The interior certainly interesting.

I've been coming to Chartres for years and after a few very disappointing experiences at the larger restaurants on the square I am so happy to have found this lovely place. I haven't had such an enjoyable meal out in a very long time. I've never been met with such friendly people despite it being the end of a hot busy Saturday at the end of the summer season. The view of the cathedral is spectacular. The food was perfectly cooked simple French food made with love. The menu was small, always a good sign I find as it means that everything is cooked with meaning. I had salmon, lamb and the chocolate fondant, all absolutely delicious and incredibly generously portioned; I couldn't believe it only came to eighteen euros for such an amazing meal. The wine list was short but did not need to be any longer; we started off with a delicious Kia with a generous splash of cassis and a big jug of ice, perfect on a boiling hot day. Then an amazingly crisp Chardonnay and a beautifully balanced Cote du Rhone, both organic and half the price of a bottle of a far less satisfying wine at any nearby restaurant. Though we were the last ones there we were in no way rushed and allowed to enjoy a delicious espresso, (in a warmed cup and everything!), and a generous slog of cognac in piece. I could not fault it. Thank you! I'll be...
