Walking past the night before, I decided I'd love to try Le Melting Pot. We went for lunch and it was delicious. I'm not a huge fan of salmon but wanted the green curry so ordered it. It was delicious. It had a nice level of spice that would probably suit most tastes and was served with fresh tasting crunchy green vegetables. My husband had the satay sauce dish and it was delicious too. I would love to have tried one of the deserts as they all sounded fantastic but I didn't have the space to! Nice service and a clean toilet. Highly recommended.

Really good place! The decor has well corporated the concept of melting pot, the picture on the wall is very eye catching! We ordered lamb shank - huge portion very good sauce, slightly on the light side. Casserole - classics! The porc actually tastes very gamy, and the bean lentil mix was so full of flavor! Best one was the chicken though, coconut milk based peanut sauce was excellent! Very appreciated the great taste there!

The name is perfect for this cozy place, the food is excellent and a beautiful blend of flavours and influences from all the countries the lovely owner has lived and worked in. We were so happy to find it - beautiful food and lovely chats. And the infused ginger rum digestif was delicious!

In my humble opinion this is simply put the best restaurant in Cherbourg! The price to quality ratio is simply unbeatable! The cuisine is full of flavour and prepared with fresh ingredients from the market. The chef offers a range of dishes at a unique price (11 euros last time I went) and is inspired by his travels and experience as a cook around the world and I can truly say this guy has a great palate, spicy or just flavourful, there is something for everyone. If you are in town you have to go and have a taste... The only issue is that you will want to come back again and again... I cannot recommend this place enough. I have been going for years (also in the previous iteration of this restaurant with the same chef) and I am always making new culinary...

One of my all-time favourite restaurants in Cherbourg. We've dined here several times and each visit is as exceptional as the last. It is literally a melting pot of cuisines with something for everyone. The menu changes often but the top dishes for me are the duck or chicken in a red or green Thai curry. Even the pork curry is fantastic. And your mains will cost you all of 11 euros. Sadly they don't do entrées and your mains are served up directly, but if you overlook that then you're guaranteed a fantastic meal out. The service is great; the servers are polite and chatty and the ambience is cosy. Best to book in advance, especially if you're planning dinner over the weekend as it gets quite...
