Winstub La Flammerie — Restaurant in Colmar-Ribeauvillé

We made a reservation here while on the road towards our Airbnb in the neighborhood close by.

We were very surprised that our last minute chose worked out so well. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere very warm and inviting.

I'm a vegetarian and they did have a vegetarian option for me. While I wished my plate was a bit more interesting (maybe with some added mushrooms or spinach) it was still very well executed and delicious.

If it's available, get the blueberry tart for dessert. It was superb.

It's local and it's authentic and my kids loved it too. Great for a family...

A very nice traditional restaurant with traditional dishes from Alsace. We tried 3 dishes made of Munster cheese, so good. Our favourite was the jambonneau (pig knuckle that was quite fatty but with still enough meat to enjoy) because it came with a potato gratin with Munster, a layer of ham and cream that makes the whole difference. If you find yourself in the area, this restaurant is a must-visit. The food and ambience are exceptional, but what truly distinguishes this place is the excellent, welcoming, and friendly service. Despite a particularly busy day for both the town and the restaurant, they managed to accommodate our large group, including many children.
