I can’t say enough good things about our experience at Bott Feres. First our tour guide Florent. There was an issue with their booking system that allowed a French language tour and an English tour at the same time and Florent did such a good job in doing the tour in both languages. First he would speak to the French couple in French and the said the same to us in English. It made for a longer tour but we didn’t mind at all. The ground here was amazing and gorgeous. Learning about how the wine is made and the history of the vineyard was so fascinating. After the tour of the cellar and grounds, we tasted several of their wines and purchased three bottles to bring home. Read more1 star just because I liked wines. We are not French speakers, but are very passionate about wine and wanted to learn more. But when we came and asked for tasting, it felt like we did something wrong just by asking. Guy pouring us wine did not want to advise on the choice or tell anything about wine, was very laconic on answering any questions I had. He kept leaving us alone and going to talk to someone tasting wine and speaking French. We weren’t there for just free drinks, so it was very much dissapointing.
