Whoever hasn’t rated this place a 5 star either must have insane dietary restrictions or hate good things.

If you’re ok with decadent, this might be the best meal you’ve ever had.

I’ll preface this by saying that I’m a Canadian tourist starting week 2 in Corsica.

Let’s start with the most important thing: the food was out of this world delicious. Will my body potentially have some words for me tomorrow? Yes. Was it worth it? Overwhelmingly yes.

We got the gnocchi carbonara (don’t knock it before you try it!) and the cod risotto (the cheddar was the perfect compliment).

As a primarily English speaking, this was also the most polite and catering restaurant we’ve been at so far in our trip around Corsica. They have an English menu, speak English very well, and let us go crazy attempting to speak French with seemingly no judgement (surely at least until we leave).

In Corsica, this is the least expensive dinner we’ve had, and somehow came with the best service and food. I won’t lie that the name threw me off at first, but I’m so glad we decided to grab a seat here...

Very good (and fast!) service, even tough the place was crowded. Wine and fish arrived at the same time. The open white wine is very good. Food was perfect, nothing fancy but everything as it should be. Pile of vegetables beside the fish was a blessing after all the heavy food you get...

Une belle découverte, cuisine maison simple et sans chichi , tout était succulent et les plats sont copieux. J’ai pris une salade de chèvre , elle était super garnie et appétissante, mon mari a pris une entrecôte ( la pièce de viande était de qualité, tendre et quasi sans graisse avec le gros sel à côté pour assaisonner à sa guise). Excellent rapport qualité-prix !! Spéciale dédicace pour le crumble aux fruits rouges, une tuerie!!! Le meilleur que j’ai mangé de tout mon vécu culinaire ! J’en veux au cuisinier qui a refusé de me partager sa recette 😝😝 pas gentil ça 😜 et enfin pour finir, mention spéciale au serveur qui nous a réservé un super accueil, souriant et pro et qui est venu mettre une cale sous la table avant même qu’on lui réclame. Vraiment bravo à vous ! Des restos dans les 4coins de la Corse j’en ai testés , vous ferez partie de mes préférés...
