We were a little disappointed by this restaurant. We found the restaurant recommended in several travel blogs and had (too) high expectations reading the menu beforehand.
Many of the dishes had the same basic flavours (same sauce and same brunoise celery used), which made it a bit boring.
We felt as if the kitchen had to get rid of a lot of these tiny cut cubes, as they were all over most dishes... We didnât understand why because the flavors really didnât fit the dish at times.
We liked that the restaurant uses local produce and wines but thatâs really to be expected in this area!
The waiter explained each dish but didnât really go beyond that to make us feel accomodated and was otherwise...

Je regrette lâabsence dâune nappe en tissu. Deux heures et demi pour manger 3 plats câest long. Trop long. Beaucoup trop long. Heureusement quâon a pas pris la version 6 plats a 88âŹ. Il y avait pourtant son suffisamment de personnel en salle. Quid des cuisinesâŠ? La prĂ©sentation des plats est soignĂ©e. CĂŽtĂ© saveurs aucune surprise. Jâai mĂȘme Ă©tĂ© un peu déçu. Câest pourtant le plus important dans restaurant gastronomique. Le poisson de ma femme manquait de cuisson. Bref, selon mes critĂšres, ce restaurant ne vaut pas les notes qui mâont amenĂ©es Ă y manger.
Modification du 17/07/23 : Je change ma note pour mettre une Ă©toile au lieu de trois suite Ă la rĂ©ponse hautaine et insultante du patron. A lire ses rĂ©ponses prĂ©cĂ©dentes il en est coutumier. Cher monsieur, vous ĂȘtes comme beaucoup de ces professionnels persuadĂ©s dâĂȘtre dâexcellents restaurateurs, quâils ont parfois Ă©tĂ©, et qui finissent dans lâĂ©mission Cauchemar en Cuisine parce quâil ont pris la grosse tĂȘte et quâils nâĂ©coutent plus quâeux ou leur cour. Si jâĂ©tais le seul Ă me plaindre de votre cuisine sans saveurs, sans surprise et aux tarifs trop Ă©levĂ©s, vous pourriez laisser mon message sans rĂ©ponse, mais le souci câest que nous sommes nombreux dans ce cas et que vos mauvaises notes sâaccentuent fortement depuis quelques temps.    Read moreAmazing restaurant with lovely waiters and a very nice atmosphere. You can really feel the care that has gone into the menu, cooking and service.
We opted for the set menu of three courses, very reasonably priced at âŹ54. However they also brought around some very tasty amuse bouches to start as well as some sweet treats to finish - not to mention the very good bread they kept us supplied with throughout the meal.
Each course was delicious, with carefully selected and interesting ingredients that really popped on their own whilst complimenting the dish as a whole.
