Le Shamrat — Restaurant in Dijon

A good place to eat indian food. I had Butter Chicken and it was tasty, as side dish i received a really big plate of rice which it was ok. Also i ordered a garlic naan which came a little bit thick and little oily for how i know naans. The chicken was tender and tasty and it came in a metal pot which had a candle under to keep it warm.

Overall is a good place if you miss indian food and you want a quick and decent oriental meal.

The plus for me it was that they allowed me to bring along my darling westie pet which sat quiet...

So, this place goes by INDIAN cuisine, but everyone is from Bangladesh here. So logically this is NOT AT ALL the Indian food place. After looking at the Biryanii, I decided not to have anything else. Because if you and your food is truly Indian, you CAN NOT go wrong with your Biryani.. 🥲 And they add 1,90euro (inflation charge)...

Travelling back as a group from Switzerland. We stopped over for a late meal. Our group consisting of over 50 people and we were unknowingly served halal meat. No signs making the public aware of halal meat being served. I personally have never eaten halal meat and was very upset after unknowingly eating it. The service, the surroundings and food was poor. I wouldn't recommend this place to my pet dog...
